Students can use their class notes, Google Classroom information, and Chromebooks to work on Practice tests. HOMEWORK: Study the material from last week and this week. FRIDAY, Sept. 6th / Lesson for next week: Vocabulary about "Family" in Spanish / El Vocabulario de La Familia en Español. Discuss information for the Project about La Familia. Students will work on their Family Tree Project (FAMILY TREE / EL ARBOL FAMILIAR - MAJOR GRADE). The Spanish Family Tree Project is due next Thursday, Sept. 12th. Go over directions carefully. Get the Project supplies. Find the necessary pictures that you need to put on the Project. Pictures can be printed in color or use original pictures (I will return original pictures after grading your Project if you need them back). Students have to work on their Project at home. -Work on activities in class today (See the attachments / Work quietly).

People from Mexico celebrate their country's independence from Spain on the anniversary of the call to arms against the European country issued Sept. 16, 1810, by the Rev. Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, a priest in Dolores, Mexico. Mexican Independence Day festivities last two days, on both the 15 and 16 of September in Mexico you will find one of the country's loudest and proudest celebrations of its history and culture.
