TUESDAY, Apr. 11th / Lesson for Spanish Preterite tense (Simple Past Tense) of Regular and Irregular verbs (Endings, verb conjugations, and examples). The objectives of the lesson are: To understand what the Preterite tense is and when to use it; To be able to conjugate regular verbs in the Preterite; To be aware of some key irregular verbs. Watch the videos. Write notes down from the video on a piece of notebook paper. Go over Chapter 15 for “ar” verbs pg. 507 and “er” - “ir” pp. 539-540 (Textbook). Complete a chart with Spanish Endings for Past Tense. Go over some of the special verbs with Spelling changes in the Past -car, -gar, and --zar. Practice Conjugations with those verbs. Go over the information from class notes. Use Chromebooks in class. HOMEWORK: Complete exercise: A pg. 508 and exercise: D pg. 509 (Translate). Review material from class.

Objectives for this Lesson: This week students will learn information about Mexican History and Culture: Introducing the History and Culture of Mexico. Learn information about Mexico's background and important people, places and events in their History. Students will be working on their Activity Packet in class. Watch the video while working on the packet. The Activity packet is due Wednesday, April 26th. I will post the video and Activity Packet during class time on Monday.
