This is a national testing date.
The PSAT (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) will be administered to all junior students and the 10th grade Honor Class Students (Honors English II, Honors Algebra II, and Honors Advanced Biology), Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at 8 a.m. in the Craig. This is the day after Fall Break.
The testing will finish approximately around 11:45 a.m.
On test day, students are to bring No. 2 pencils, an approved calculator, and his or her non Pillow e-mail address.
The PSAT is the qualifying test for juniors to become a National Merit Semifinalist and Finalist. The National Merit Scholarship Program is an academic competition among high school students for recognition and college scholarship. National Merit Scholarship Corporation, a not-for-profit organization that operates without government assistance, conducts the program annually. High school students enter the National Merit Program by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) in their junior year.
